Animals in the park....

What could be better on a sunny Sunday afternoon than to take in my regular mocha at Le Cafe and then wander through this beautiful city?

Recently I found my footsteps  led me to Victoria Square and the Topiary Menagerie of giraffes and penguins -antelopes and elephants and fascinating floral artworks as part of this years Festival of Flowers.

Imagine my horror to see the mother elephant thrown onto her side and the poor calf standing mournfully beside her. This wanton destruction had not ended there. No these violent vandals had put out the eyes of both!

Could a slynkey girl do such a thing? No I am sure a male has had a hand in this and should they be found - they may not stop at just removing their eyes!
