Apple's new iPad

I found this cracker of a YouTube clip this morning and thought that I would share it with you. British comedy is great but we don't get enough of it on our telly (except if you count UKTV on Sky and the odd show on Channel 1). I hope this clip makes you giggle a little...

In other news.. 

While updating my Twitter profile this morning I saw that literally everyone was tweeting about the new Apple iPad and thought that I should find out what all this hype was about. I knew it must be something along the lines of an Ipod/Iphone but what? 

This new hot tech item is a tablet-style computer that resembles the iPod Touch/iPhone but its much bigger (just a litle bit smaller than the size of a typical laptop screen). For all those interested it's 9.56" tall and 7.47" wide. This sounds like something that I really do NEED (and not just want). With the iPad you can browse the web, email, watch movies, play games and read e-books and more. It's just like an iPhone but better. Only yesterday I was out printing and binding up an e-book because it was just too hard to read on my laptop, however I understand that it's going to be much easier to read e-books on the iPad. All my prayers have been answered with this new toy and I am very excited about being able to test one of these out soon.

I think all bloggers and tech savvy slynkey girls need an iPad. I'm going to keep plodding along doing my research and giving you the details as I find them out myself. The iPad is not yet available in New Zealand but rumours are that we should have them here by June. Until then we will just have to be content with iPhones and laptops slynkey girls :)
