Love Is In The Air!
We all know Valentine's Day is super close, and look what I stumbled upon today while out and about...

I've heard it said that Valentine's is just a holiday created so that "Consumers will consume and spend more money on things they don't need." True, perhaps.. I've also heard it said, "Valentine's Day doesn't make any sense - you shouldn't show your love for someone/s on one day of the year, it should happen everyday." True, perhaps..
While I was in the store I took this photo in waiting in line to go through checkout, infront of me was a mum and her two sons. In their basket were loads of little Valentine's cards, pencils, erasers, stickers... these little tikes were creating Valentine's Day goodie bags for their classmates - something that is in fact a very common happening over here in the US.
Yesterday while I was in a cafe minding my own business at the table over from me sat a mum and her son, they were both sipping on drinks and eating sandwiches as I overheard their conversation about what the boy should give out to his classmates this year for Valentine's Day.
CUTE!
What I love the most about this is how people are thinking of others..plural. Not just one special sweetheart, but friends, classmates, family members, teachers, etc, etc.
Expand your definition of Valentine's Day...maybe even bake a batch of frosted cupcakes for the slynkey girls in the slynkey office. Go on, you know you want to ;) And we'd LOVE YOU for it!
