We'ar knitting jewellery

we'ar is a yoga lifestyle collection born from an understanding of the body in action, a respect for the environment and the individual, a celebration of happiness, and an appreciation of the simple beauty in life.

The we'ar brand was founded by designer Jyoti Morningstar (pictured right) who divides her time between Bali (where the collection is produced) and Waiheke Island describing the contrast of the two places as "integral to achieving balance and fullness in my life."

Recently Jyoti teamed up with Bali based jewellery designer Zuliana and added a jewellery component to her we'ar lifestyle collection. The beautiful and unique knitted jewellery pieces are stunning and a real point of difference in the market.

High quality sterling silver is actually knitted together to create delicate and organic shapes in a unique technique perfected by Zuliana.

Reknowned in local circles for her more flamboyant works using bright semi-precious & precious stones, Zuliana's collaboration with we'ar called for more pared back designs embracing simple, clean, animate forms.

The beauty of the technique is the movement that the silver can now achieve through the knitting process, turning what is traditionally a hard, heavy substance into something light and fluid - And beautiful!

This is the first of many collaborations you will see from we'ar as Jyoti plans to work with an abundance of talented Bali based artisans.
