Trend Alert: Orbit Sandals

As I'm sure you're all aware, with summer in mind, this is crunch time. In terms of getting your summer wardrobe together, the time is nigh. Dresses, shorts, baggy tops and bikinis are obviously must-haves, but what we must not forget, are the shoes! Or sandals, as the case may be.

So, I have found a nice little brand for you all to check out by the name of Orbit. Stocked in the very accessible Wildpair stores, priced very reasonably and with a wide variety of tastes covered, these are sure to be a very popular summer brand.

The Orbit 'Barbwe' (pictured top right) to start was a shoe I liked for reasons I couldn't explain. On paper it would never have appealed but something kept pulling my eye back as I attempted to walk past it. So I tried it on.

This shoe makes your foot look really good and it is super comfortable. The use of different material makes a rather generic style a bit different and the zip at the back adds a little something extra. Available in black, red and chocolate, this sandal is also the epitome of being able to go from day to night.

The next sandal is the 'Kongo' (pictured on the left). These shoes follow last years winning style of the studded sandal. I still love this style. The interesting angles of the sandal's straps make them a little different from other similar brands and in colours; black, pale and gold, mean you'll probably want one of each. The studs and the buckles mean they can easily make a casual outfit a little more dressy, or and night outfit a bit more chilled out. In other words - perfect for those good old summer BBQ's!

The final one that caught my eye is the 'Masai'. This is a little different to the usual summer styles and in my opinion is bang on the line between being cool and just not. But they totally work. They are casual, comfortable, chilled and yet look really wicked. The one strap that goes diagonal really makes the shoe and the solid strap round the back makes them even cooler. Basically I just really like these shoes and think they'd look amazing with a plain cream/white summer dress. Oooohhhh yes!
