Richard Kavanagh, one of Australasia’s best hair stylists, is one of the several high profile experts who share their knowledge in the masterclasses.

Since he finished filming the Impulse Into Glamour Masterclasses, Richard has been travelling all over the world including a crazy but exciting time at New York Fashion Week. He reveals his predictions for this season’s hottest and most glamorous hair trends here just for us:

• Long hair is worn with a slight wave and tousled with light flyaway’s
• Fringes are heavy and blunt
• Mid length hair looks great worn straight with a dirty, salty texture and a matte finish
• Short hair is worn in structured shapes cut short at the nape with weight in the sides and length at the front but not wispy - blunter and heavier than in seasons past.
• Hair ups are loose and casual with bun's and top knots featuring heavily, again with a second day texture and a romantic flyaway finish.
