Golden Globes Red Carpet Fashion

Hey slynkey girls! I hope your 2010 year started with a bang and you all feel refreshed after the festive season. I don't know about you, but I love this time of year... award season! So here are the best and worst dressed moments from the Golden Globe awards. Enjoy!

Best Dressed: Chloe Sevigny

She FINALLY got it right! We are know Chloe Sevigny has had her fair share of fashion disasters in the past, but this time she grabbed our attention in a good way.

Dressed in a mauve Valentino gown, the star looked graceful and feminine all thanks to her new stylist. The colour is just the right shade to compliment her skin tone, and of course frills are a must-have on any outfit this season, therefore a great accessory to perfect this look. Minimal makeup, an up-do and simple jewellery add elegance to finish the look. Stunning!

Worst Dressed: Mariah Carey

Need I say more? We all know that Mariah has big boobs, but for some reason she thinks the memo hasn't quite reached us yet.

From the neck up and waist down, Mariah actually looks amazing - gorgeous makeup and hair, a slimming colour and great fabric to give her that hourglass figure.

Unfortunately, all that is in between ruins any hope for the singer of making the best dressed list. Let this be a lesson ladies... if you are big busted do not do the Mariah.

Love It or Hate It: Kate Hudson

I am leaving this one up to you slynkey girls... love it or hate it? I am unsure! Kate Hudson's Marchesa gown definitely got the fashion police talking at the Golden Globes this year. The white is delicious, the gown looks as though it is made out of icing and this tone compliments her skin colour.

The up-do and fresh makeup are beautiful, just as Kate always is on the red carpet. The cut and style of the dress are perfection showing off her toned shoulders and arms. However, two things ruin this outfit. The shoes are too much - with such an elegant dress, less is always more, but Kate fails to achieve this by wearing platform heels. WHY?! Lastly, the Christmas fluff along the bust line and left hip does not work. An improvement on these two small imperfections would have had her top the best dressed list for sure!
