2 Hot Looks for this season

Hey slynkey ladies! I hope the summer weather improved throughout February, wherever you may be in the country. Award season is of course in full swing, so now is the perfect time to be drawing inspiration from those who do it best, to create your own party style for the up and coming autumn season. Here are a few hot looks to help you on your way! A. X

Hot Look 1: The Bodice

This latest trend has done a complete 360, first made famous by the likes of superstars such as Madonna during the 80's. But the bodice has been recreated in a modern way, once again by this decades hottest stars such as Beyonce and Lady Gaga.

The bodice is commonly a strapless number with boning along the side seams to give that 'lift' we all love. The bodice has been embraced by stylists on runways worldwide, therefore it is likely you will be able to find a colour and material that suits your personal style in the upcoming months.

If you are a rock queen or you feel like taking a risk for your next night out, look for a bodice in a faux leather or black satin. Of course we don't want to overdo the 'biker chick' look, so team with a simple pair of leggings or skinny jeans, cute peeptoe heels and a long necklace.

For a more feminine look whilst encorporating the bodice, opt for a nude colour such as peach, cream or white in this item. Also look out for cute bodices with frills or lace to achieve this look.

Hot Look 2: Cutouts

As you would have seen in the latest fashion mags, celebrities have really taken a liking to one of this season's hottest trends, going as far to individualise their award outfits to create this sexy look. Of course...I'm talking about cutouts. Sometimes we get a little too excited about feeling sexy and showing some flesh, but this is too be taken with care ladies!

Cutouts have appeared on fashion runways for years, New York fashion week in particular embraced the trend, with many designers taking big risks with this look throughout the summer and spring seasons. Of course we also remember the famous black cutout dress Marissa Cooper wore in the New Years episode of the OC... yes we loved it then, and we love it now.

When shopping for a dress with cutouts, simply think "is this appropriate to wear in front of my parents?". If the answer is no, then alarm bells should sound! Opt for a simple colour such as navy, black or white to keep you looking classy whilst maintaining that sex appeal. And the number one rule with this look - never show underwear!
