Arome's Marine Indulgence

All summer long I have called the ocean my home, wishing that I could make like Ariel and turn into a mermaid.  I have basked on the sandy NZ beaches, swam in the aqua water and brushed up against seaweed – all of which has been fun, but it has taken a toll on my body.

Without giving too much of this treatment away, I began with ditching my summer clothes in place of a comfy, soft, robe and placing my feet in a footspa.

By starting with a foot massage it began the detoxification process allowing my body to relax and sink into this treatment fully in order to soak up every bit of it.  Next a gentle body scrub was applied to my body to remove dead skin cells and revive tired skin – but don’t worry slynkey girls – you aren’t completely naked for this treatment.

At all times you are kept modestly covered with a soft, warm towel which under you are topless and in disposable underwear – incredibly non-invasive and at all times I felt relaxed and comfortable, which you will too!  After the body scrub was applied I was left alone to shower off in the most incredible and gorgeous spa/ steam shower I have ever seen in my life – let me tell you, it is almost painful to get out, you want to stay in there forever.  But I knew I had to step out and towel down because the pièce de résistance had arrived - a seaweed mud wrap. 

The health benefits from a seaweed mud wrap are too numerous to list, and you feel every one of them, all while wrapped snug, covered in divine seaweed mud to detoxify and revive your body.  This treatment would not be complete without another gorgeous steam shower to wash off and purify, and finally to be covered in luxurious body milk for your skin to really satisfy its thirst for beauty after a long summer of being forgotten!
