Did you hear about the morgans?

Lovers of Hugh Grant will love his latest movie 'Did you hear about the Morgans?' as he successfully colaborates with Sarah Jessica Parker in this heart-warming romantic comedy.

Successful New York City-dwelling husband and wife Paul and Meryl (played by Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker), who have almost-perfect lives, have one notable failure - their dissolving marriage.

When they both witness a murder in New York City, they become the targets of a contract killer, and are sent to a middle-of-nowhere country town called Ray in Wyoming under witness protection, where they find themselves drawn back to each other.

I went with my partner, after much disagreement over what movie to see - he wanted to see The edge of Darkness - but relented after cracking up when we watched the trailer.

Although the movie is a predictable romantic comedy with a happy ending, it is still a great laugh for those of you looking for a romantic comedy that you can take your partner to.

We both loved it, even after pointing out that Hugh Grant plays the same character in every movie. But I thought, who cares? It works every time!

After falling head-over-heels for his adorable British humour in Love Actually, Hugh was not a disappointment.  He was definitely on form in Did you hear about the Morgans?, enough to forgive him for his less-desirable films such as American Dreamz.

Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker looked to be an interesting mix, if not a tad unusual. One looks at Sarah Jessica Parker and sees Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City making waves in New York City, and to mix her with a man who essentially could not be any more British seemed a little unorthodox.

Turns out I was wrong. There could not have been a more perfect match for this movie. They were made for each other as characters, and they obviously worked well together as actors.

So, slynkey girls, if you are a fan of Hugh Grant and you're after a feel-good romantic comedy that will reaffirm your belief in true love, then Did you hear about the Morgans? is a must-see!
