Reality Bites' Coffee Making Course

Whether you have an espresso machine at home and want to learn how to make the perfect coffee or are just intrigued by the coffee making process and want to understand what a Barista does at your local coffee shop - a coffee course is a fun thing for a slynkey girl to do.

I heard from a couple of friends of mine about this really cool coffee course that was being put on by Reality Bites Cafe in Bishopdale and thought I would check it out for myself.

Tammy Abbott runs the course and she sure knows a lot about coffee! I don't think I have ever met anybody that knows as much about the mysterious bean as she does. Best of all she taught me how to make the perfect latte - now that is a real talent!!

In this introductory coffee making course you learn about the origins of coffee, how to grind and extract the coffee, froth the milk and pour the milk to make the perfect coffee plus much more.

But by far the best thing about this course is you get to drink the perfect coffee you have just created and are given chocolate brownies for your effort. The chocolate brownies were absolutely divine - probably the best I have ever tasted and that is saying something!

I would totally recommend this coffee school but if you are ever in Bishopdale and feel like a great coffee (and a chocolate brownie) I would definitely pop into Reality Bites too.

I would suggest that you book in advance for coffee school quick because numbers are limited - six to a class, however if you have a small group Tammy will offer an exclusive coffee class for just you and your friends.
